ECO- CELL runs a strict NO LANDFILL Program! ALL items received by ECO- CELL, including batteries,
accessories,
and phones
with no resale value, will be recycled using the best demonstrated
technologies
for recycling e-waste.
- Reuse: Through our innovative program approximately 80% of the phones collected will be refurbished
and reused by first-time users abroad or by selected local organizations, such as Hospital patients for emergency 911 calls.
- Recycle: All unusable cell phones and accessories will be recycled under strict
EPA guidelines by certified
recyclers.

ECO- CELL provides a simple, yet very effective program for all types of organizations to raise funds without having to buy or sell anything. In order to pay you the highest price possible for the largest variety of phones we conduct an auction at the end of every month with multiple buyers. As a result ECO-CELL is able to pay its fundraisers more for the types of phones that typically come in via its collection program.
Silverbacks
 Any conservation partner who sends us 1,000 phones total (no time limits) will be granted Silverback status. Silverbacks enjoy the following benefits for as long as they participate in ECO-CELL's program:
- Up to $15.00 per phone
- Minimum paid per phone is $.45 (No more $0 value phones)
- Free, customized cell phone collection boxes
